Let’s Talk Chocolate

About

I am a child of God and a single work at home mom of a 6 year old boy, Andrew. We live in Utah about 30 miles north of Salt Lake City. We enjoy eating chocolate, dining out, watching movies, camping (where we eat lots of chocolate), fishing, and just hanging out (usually eating chocolate). Since we don’t have family close anymore, we spend a lot of time exploring their local community and all it has to offer.

I am a self-described as a chocoholic, and Andrew is well on his way to giving me competition.

My friends over on Twitter talk chocolate all the time. And it doesn’t seem to matter who starts the subject, once it’s mentioned it will go on for a long time. Let’s face it. We love chocolate! I personally try to have some type of chocolate every single day.

One day, Kelly McCausey mentioned that somebody should start a chocolate of the month club. It’s been weighing on my mind ever since. I told you; I am a chocolate addict. I am obsessed with chocolate. When I worked at my last job (before coming home full time) I was a graphic designer at the local newspaper. It didn’t take long for the salespeople to learn to bring me chocolate when they wanted to ask for the moon. They would offer dinner, pizza, whatever. I would say just bring me chocolate.

Slowly the idea for a chocolate podcast was born. I have put it off because I was thinking I was just being silly. Who really wanted to listen to me talk about chocolate once a week or even once a month? Meanwhile, Kelly keeps twittering about somebody starting a chocolate of the month club. So one night I casually mention to my friend Annette Yen that I was playing with the idea of starting a chocolate podcast. I think I met somebody as obsessed as me because she was not going to let me let go of the idea.

Let’s Talk Chocolate was born.
